Product Description
Asphalt Saturated Organic Felts are manufactured from premium quality organic mat and saturated with high-grade asphalt.
It is designed as an underlayment product to be applied over the roof deck prior to the installation of asphalt shingles. Install Asphalt Saturated Organic Felts as a secondary barrier to moisture caused by wind-driven rain and ice damming.

Asphalt roofing felt used as an underlay beneath asphalt shingles, wood shakes, tiles and other sloped coverings.
Saturated organic felts require protection from damage and the weather. Store rolls upright in a dry location and never install when wet or over a wet roof deck.

The roofing felt is widely used as underlayment which is under asphalt shingles. Its saturation rate is 100%,that’s to say, both water and air cannot enter.
Applying tips:
Manufacturers of roofing products sometimes have specifications for the material underlaying them, which should be carefully followed. When applying roofing felt, pay careful attention to areas that receive the most water runoff, including roof hips, ridges and areas around adjoining walls. Cover those areas with an additional 6 inches of felt, from each direction.
