Introducion:

 

Asphalt roofing felts are designed as an underlayment product to be applied over the roof deck prior to the installation of asphalt shingles. Install asphalt roofing felts as a secondary barrier to moisture caused by wind driven rain and ice damming.

 

Usage:

 

Asphalt roofing felt  is underlayment  applied over the roofing deck before installation of asphalt shingles. This is recommended for use with 20 and 25 year asphalt shingles.
