Introduction
No.30 felt is a smaller roof underlayment great for those working on a budget and/or just doing a small roof project. Since this is a felt underlayment, it doesn't have the same technology as its synthetic counterparts. But this is still a great product, especially considering its low price.

Advantages
No.30 felt is designed to lay down flatter when you are rolling it out. This should reduce the amount of wrinkling, compared to other felt underlayments. Also, compared to other felts, its asphalt saturation is stronger, which makes it more resistant to water and other destructive elements.
How to store
It requires protection from damage and the weather. Store rolls upright in a dry location and never install when wet or over a wet roof deck.
