Building Roof Leak Repairing Self Adhesive Bitumen Waterproof Material
Introduction:
This product is a kind of self adhesion rubberized bitumen membrane. Its basic ingredients are synthetic rubber, tackifier and high quality road petrleum bitumen.
Strong high-densitypolyethylene film or aluminum film is used as the upper surface material. On the lower surface is covered with silicon-coated isolation film.
Application area:
It is usually used as waterproof and damp proof materials on different substrates, especially on where open flame is not prohibited. It is also used as ice and water shield.
Difference with torch applied type:
1.Different composition:
Self adhesive membrane main ingredients are synthetic rubber, tackifier and high quality road petroleum asphalt.
Torch applied membrane is made of polyester felt, glass fiber felt as the carrier, SBS thermoplastic elastomer as the asphalt modifier, and
double sided covering insulation material.
2.Different construction process:
Self adhsive membrane does not require adhesive. No need to heat and melt. Just pee off the release film and stick in on the rooftop.
Torch applied membrane requires a fire gun or gas gun to heat the bottom film and then stick it on the rooftop.
Guide to use:
When installation, peel off the release film and then stick it on the substrate. In order to strengthen its adhesion property, primer oil can be applied before membrane sticking.
